SHORT STORY TITLE: A Divine Introduction.
This ballroom looked like a grand and spacious lounge with two floors.
Several groups of people were across the top floor’s balcony, while other groups were socializing, dancing, or watching others dance on the first floor in the middle of this main room.
With the energy of the live performance on stage, this is an exciting place for music, drinks, and fun.
The scene shows around the room from the ceiling before focusing on the view of a young couple. They seem caught up in each other’s company, standing together surrounded by lounge chairs, smiling and laughing, with her arms over his shoulders and his arm around her waist.
The scene then zooms into the girl. Suddenly, she’s aware that she’s out of place and becomes slightly startled.
She breathes and thinks, ‘Where… What is this place?’
The two of them stood in front of the expansive windows, which extended to the wall’s width and height, revealing the pleasant night outside.
Despite not knowing who she is with, she attempts to keep her cool.
Seeing her surroundings, she wonders, ‘How is it possible for me to be out in a place like this?’
She looked up at him, but she couldn’t see his face, which was blurry and dark. Looking into his blurry face, she smiles at this mysterious person and thinks, ‘Why am I in this beautiful, amazing place with this person?’
She starts feeling at ease and content about being there and he seemed relaxed, so she gets closer to him like before.
‘What a cool place. I’m in a dress with high heels! I don’t mind this.’

The alarm rang, signaling that it was time for her to get ready for school.
She groggily reached for the alarm to turn it off. As she lay there, she couldn’t help but think about the nice dream she had just experienced. It was unlike any other dream she had ever had. It was so clear and vivid, and the emotions she had felt during the dream were so unique that she woke up with a subtle, unusual feeling that lingered.
She’s up. She brushed off the dream and convinced herself that it was just her imagination running wild. After all, she’s a nineteen-year-old student and believes that dreams were nothing more than the brain’s way of processing thoughts and emotions during sleep. Besides, she had a 10:00 a.m. Organic Chemistry class to attend, and she couldn’t afford to be distracted. So, she dismissed her first dream experience as nothing but an exciting but insignificant dream.
