I like the idea of evolving friendships, but I have reservations about establishing trust with strangers. In society, I understand I have to connect with others for related goals, hobbies, activities in common.

A Repeated Cooperation Game

Game theory is the study of making wise choices when others’ decisions also affect the outcome. This is an example of making a connection strategy.

1. Begins with mutual cooperation.
2. Continues the cooperating with established trusts.
3. If betrayal happens during cooperation, stand your ground for reputation here.
4. Game over. – Or – If it is mutual to try cooperating a last time, then start a fresh game.

Friendship is by mutual cooperation with established trusts, memory, and future aspirations.
